Diameter 28mm, 23.02 grams. Apparently struck without Hijri year in outer margin. Obverse: Centre: couplet: "Obtained permanency by command of the Lord of both Worlds / Current coin of the realm through the name of Shah Zaman". / Margin: couplet: "Struck coin on silver and gold by the Divine command / Zaman Shah, right hand and left hand (of the State)". Reverse: zarb dar-ul-saltanat kabul sanat 5 (struck at the seat of the sultanate kabul year 5). AVF.

Obverse: Couplet: "Obtained permanency by command of the Lord of both Worlds, Current coin of the realm through the name of Shah Zaman.". Reverse: Centre: zarb ashrafu-l-bilad ahmadshahi 1214 / 7 (struck at the most noble of cities ahmadshahi 1214 / 7). Margins: couplet in four compartments: "Struck coin on silver and gold by the Divine command, Zaman Shah, right hand and left hand (of the State)". VF+, nicely toned, centered and fully struck; a masterpiece of Islamic calligraphy.
