Patricius Sporer. Wurtzburg, Germany, c. 1650. Gilt bronze. Diameter 61.7mm, 32.0 grams. Obverse: S. PATRICIUS C.R. PATRONUS SCHOLARUM (St. Patricius (Sporer), Christus Rex, Patron of the Students), around a half-length bust of St. Patricius facing three-quarters left, holding a cross over his left shoulder. Reverse: DUMUS B. M. VIRGINIS (Thorns of the Blessed Virgin Mary), below a blazing heart with "T" or perhaps a cross, pierced by two arrows, surrounded by laurel branches. Edge inscribed STUDY VITUTIS AC MOREM TESSERA APUD C: REGV: S.P. AUGUSTINI IN OPPIDO WERTENSI (Award for the Study of Virtue and Morals at the Augustinian Seminary in Wurtzburg).

Diligentiae Praemium. Ansbach, Germany, 1737. Silver. Diameter 21.1mm, 1.2 grams. Obverse: Spread Eagle crest of Ansbach, with 17 and 37 on either side. Reverse: DILIGENTIAE PRAEMIUM (prize for diligence) within a closed laurel wreath.

Regensburg, Germany School Award Klippe. 17th century. 162 162. Silver. Square, vertical tip-to-tip 36.3mm × horizontal tip-to-tip 35.9mm, 4.0 grams. Obverse: DULCE TERGVM LABORIS around a woman standing with floral arrangement and wreath in front of an altar (?) with MAE TAE on base. Reverse: PRAEMIUM DILIGENTIAE above the arms of Regensburg.

Obverse: Youth on bended knee reaching up toward a laurel wreath which sits atop a hill, beyond a thicket; PRECIBUS PATET ATQUE LABORI around. Reverse: BRABEON SCHOLAE HAMBURG: with winged cherubs' heads above and below.

According to Erlanger, prize medals are mentioned in the 'Schulordnung' (school regulations) of 1634 for the Johannis Gymnasium.   The word 'brabeon' implies victory in a contest, such as an examination, though at the Johannis-Schule in Hamburg, the 'brabeontes' were given to all students who got promoted each year.

Obverse: Arm coming out of a cloud, with the hand holding a sword and an olive branch, and a book tethered to the forearm; BELLI PACISQUE MINISTRAE (servant of war and of peace) around. Reverse: BRABEON SCHOLAE HAMBURG: (school prize, Hamburg) with winged cherubs' heads above and below. Diagonally reeded edge.

Obverse: BETE UND ARBEITE (pray and work) around Ceres, standing next to a plinth with a beehive and holding a cornucopia; with a cherub reaching up to her. Reverse: SO WIRD DICH GOTT SEEGNEN (so God will bless you) within a closed floral wreath. Reeded edge. Prooflike uncirculated.

Athena Pointing to Temple of Fame. Probably Germany, c. 1820. Silver. Diameter 48.2mm, 57.3 grams. By "K" (signed lower right obverse, near owl). Obverse: Athena with with owl at her feet, with school boys, pointing to the Temple of Fame on a hilltop, "Ab His Ad Fama" (By this way to fame) above; "Detur Digniori" (Let it be given to the more worthy) below exergue line. Reverse: Closed wreath.
