NeoCollect Online Privacy Policy

      The NeoCollect Site and network (collectively, “Site” or the “Services”) are operated and provided by NeoCollect LLC (“NeoCollect” or “we” and “us”). NeoCollect is very sensitive to the privacy needs of our Site users, and recognizes the importance of protecting personally identifiable information that you (“you” or the “User”) may choose to share with NeoCollect.  This Online Privacy Policy (“Privacy Policy”) provides you with important information regarding NeoCollect’s collection, storage and use of personally identifiable information.

      This Privacy Policy applies only to personally identifiable information collected on the Site(s) operated by NeoCollect on which this Privacy Policy is posted (collectively, “our Site”), and does not apply to any other information collected by NeoCollect offline or through any other means. This privacy policy applies to all of NeoCollect’s businesses, affiliates, and subsidiaries, including, but not limited to our websites, and covers the use and disclosure of information that NeoCollect may collect any time you interact with us, e.g. when you use our websites, when you call our customer service department, or when you purchase any of our products and services.

      Registration Information

NeoCollect never automatically collects any information that specifically identifies users, such as their name, address, or e-mail address.  NeoCollect collects personally identifiable information from users only when users voluntarily provide it as part of the registration process (“Registration Information”).  We always ask users whenever we need Registration Information that identifies users or allows us to contact users. By way of further explanation, information about your collections or individual items which are or were part of your collections (including text and images), creative contributions, opinions, descriptions, photos, profiles, messages, videos, and all other such content that you upload, publish, or display on or through the Services or the Site, or transmit to or share with other users are not considered personally identifiable information.  By uploading images, video, photographs, text and/or other content (“content”) it may be possible for others to deduce your identity and detailed personal information about you. 

      NeoCollect may collect and use personally identifiable information from users for purposes other than site registration, e.g., when a user decides to opt-in to subscribing to a particular service or newsletter, financial information (for billing purposes), participating in polls, surveys, and questionnaires, ratings or comments on items posted by other users, using tell-a-friend features, participating in contests, sweepstakes, or other promotions, or receiving technical support.

      Consent and Security

      It is your choice whether or not you provide your Registration Information to NeoCollect but Registration Information is required in order for NeoCollect to provide you with Services, namely, access to and/or participation in the Services (the “Services”) and certain other features of our Site.

       Use of Personally Identifiable Information

      Your personally identifiable information may be used internally within NeoCollect.com and its subsidiaries, affiliated companies, or other businesses or persons for the purpose of processing such information in conformance with our Privacy Policy.  We require that such other businesses and persons agree to comply with our Privacy Policy.  For example, NeoCollect may use your personally identifiable information internally to provide access to you, enable you to upload content, manage any content posted and/or uploaded and your relationships with other users, and process your contributions to projects, to understand who uses our Site, to improve our Site, to provide updates on special events, news, and announcements of interest to our users, for marketing purposes, and to contact you for customer service, payment, and billing purposes.

      NeoCollect allows you to designate information that you upload about yourself, any content you post or upload and any content private or publicly viewable on the NeoCollect site.  We respect your confidentiality, and strive to maintain the privacy of the information that you designate private.  The Services may allow you to submit, display, or otherwise use User Content within areas of the Services intended to be private (“Restricted Zones”), however, we cannot guarantee the privacy of these Restricted Zones.

      In addition, NeoCollect reserves the right to disclose your personally identifiable information under limited circumstances in the event NeoCollect believes that our Site is being used to commit unlawful acts; if disclosure of your personally identifiable information is required to comply with applicable laws or regulations, or with a court or administrative order; or will help to enforce our Terms of Use, to protect your safety or security, including the safety and security of property that belongs to you, or to protect the safety and security of our Site or third parties.

      From time to time, NeoCollect may purchase a business or sell one or more of our businesses and your personally identifiable information may be transferred as a part of the purchase or sale. The personally identifiable information transferred as a part of the purchase or sale would be treated in accordance with this Privacy Policy, if it is practicable and permissible to do so. Your personally identifiable information will not be otherwise transferred without your consent to opt-in to third party communications.

      Usage Information

      Non-personally identifying information (“Usage Information”) comprises information that does not identify any particular user. Examples include: information about which of NeoCollect’s pages are visited on an aggregate level, browser type, operating system type, or IP address of a user.

      NeoCollect may collect other types of non-personally identifying information, e.g., age, date of birth, gender, hobbies, or other demographic information.

      Use of Usage Information

      Your Usage Information may be disclosed internally within NeoCollect.  For example, NeoCollect may disclose Usage Information in order to better understand which parts of our Site users are visiting, to improve the content of our Site, and for marketing, advertising, or research purposes. 

      Cookies and Log Files

      Our Site may place a text file called a “cookie” in the browser files of your computer. Cookies can be used to provide you with tailored information from our Site.       Third-party Advertisers, Links to Other Sites

      NeoCollect may allow advertising services companies to serve advertisements within our Site.  Advertising may be based on usage, text, demographic, or other information gathered by or on behalf of NeoCollect.  NeoCollect’s Privacy Policy does not apply to, and we cannot control, the activities of advertisers.

      This Privacy Policy applies only to the site(s) operated by NeoCollect, and not to any other sites to which NeoCollect may link.

      NeoCollect uses commercially reasonable physical, managerial, and technical safeguards to preserve the integrity and security of your personally identifiable information. We cannot, however, ensure or warrant the security of any information you provide to NeoCollect and you do so at your own risk. Once we receive your transmission of information, NeoCollect makes commercially reasonable efforts to ensure the security of our systems.       Our Commitment To Children’s Privacy

      Protecting the privacy of young children is especially important. For that reason, NeoCollect does not knowingly collect or maintain personally identifiable information or non-personally-identifiable information on our Site from persons under 13 years of age, and no part of our Site is directed to persons under 13. If you are under 13 years of age, then please do not use or access our Site at any time or in any manner. If NeoCollect learns that personally identifiable information of persons under 13 years of age has been collected on our Site without verified parental consent, then NeoCollect will take appropriate steps to delete this information.

      Our Site is hosted in the United States and is intended for and directed to users in the United States.
