1843. Silver. Diameter 50mm, 35.7 grams. A large, minutely hand-engraved "token of esteem" from the apparently numerous "foreign" workers (Americans)to the manager of the Magdalena Cotton Factory in Mexico City on Feb 27, 1843. Certainly unique and visually impressive and heavy in the palm. Ex Dick Mitchell.
