Brazil, Colony. D. Pedro II, 1683-1706. 640 réis, 1700. Rio de Janeiro. Amato 137. Gomes P2 24.05. KM 90.1. Lupércio 3A. Silver. Diameter 38.5mm, 19.34 grams. Obverse: Crowned shield of arms between value and quatrefoils. Reverse: Armillary Sphere on cross of Jerusalem. NGC MS-65, virtually as struck, luster, and with a peripheral rainbow toning. Scarce date, and very rare in such condition.
