Great Britian, 1739. Admiral Vernon medal, McCormick-Goodhart #26, Adams & Chao PBv 17-N,  Porto Bello.  Vernon bust, profile facing left.  A baton is in his left hand.  The legend reads Admiral Vernon Took Porto Bello.  The reverse shows six ships entering the harbor.  The legend reads With Six Ships Only Nov 22 1739.  Steeples point to left of P in Ships and N of Only.  Numerous strong water lines on reverse.  Size is 38 mm and weight 21.16 grams.  Listed as R-6 in A&C.
