Great Britian, 1739. Admiral Vernon medal, McCormick-Goodhart #18, Adams & Chao NLv 8-G, Vernon & Brown.  Obverse shows full lenth Vernon facing right with a sword in his right hand.  Commodore Brown is shown full length facing left and shaking hands with Vernon.  A crown is shown between their heads and a ship below.  The legend reads The British Glory Reviv.D By Adm.L Vernon Comr Brown.  The reverse shows the devil leading Sir Robert Walpole into the mouth of Hell.  The words coming out of the devil read: Make Room For Sir Robert.  In exergue No Excise.  Size is 37 mm and weight 12.65 grams.  Listed as R-5 in A&C.
