Great Britian, 1739. Admiral Vernon medal, Porto Bello, McCormick-Goodhart #28.  Adams & Chao PBv 19-N, listed as R-6.   Obverse shows a bust of Vernon facing right.  The legend reads Admiral Vernon Took Porto Bello.  The medal is signed T on Vernon's arm, which apparently identifies the engraver.  The reverse shows six ships entering the harbor.  The legen reads With Six Ships Only Nov 22 1739.  Steeples point left of P in Ships and N in Only.  The reverse edge is raised and the waterlines go up to the top of the harbor and are strong.  A well executed bust of Vernon.  Size is 38.5 mm, just shy of 39 mm.  Weight is 23.34 grams.
