Great Britian, 1739. Admiral Vernon medal, Porto Bello, McCormick-Goodhart #29,  Adams & Chao PBv 3-C,  listed as R-6.  Obverse shows Vernon 1/2 length facing 1/2 left with 3/4 face.  The legend reads Admiral Varnon Took Porto Bell.  Vernon is spelled Varnon, and Bello is spelled Bell.  His finger is at the angle of the line of legend, and the thumb of the right hand is like a claw.  The reverse shows six ships in the harbor.  The legend reads With Six Ships Only Nov 22 1739.  The year 1739 appears to be upside down at the bottom of the medal, but due to how the legend reads.  Size is 26 mm and weight 5.21 grams.
