MG20, Adams & Chao PB 2-C

Great Britian, 1739. Admiral Vernon medal, Porto Bello, McCormick-Goodhart #20.  Adams & Chao PB 2-C, listed as R-5. Obverse shows Royal Arms with G R to either side at top.  The reverse shows six ships outside the harbor.  The legend is small lettering, difficult to read on this worn specimen.  The fort on MG20 has 7 guns in the fort on the left side.  There is no line enclosing the reverse legend.  Note: due to wear attribution to MG20 of this medal is tentative.  Size is 37.5 mm and weight 13.47 grams.
