Mexico. Felipe V, 1700-1724; 1724-1746. 8 reales, 1735MF. Mexico City. KM# 103. Gilboy M-8-7. Silver. Diameter 38.5mm, 26.75 grams. Obverse: Crowned old and new worlds, between the two pillars of Hercules with legends "VTRAQUE VNUM" (both are one). Mintmark Mo (twice) and date below. Reverse: Arms of Castille and Leon displayed under the Spanish crown with the denomination "8" to the right, assayer initials "MF" to the left. Legend PHILIP.V.D.G.HISPAN.ET IND.REX (Felipe V by the grace of God King of Spain and India). XF-45.
