Panama Gold One Token (1912), Silver

Panama, 1912 (undated). Obverse shows a Roman head facing right encircled by a wreath.  The reverse  is inscribed Panama Gold at the top with One Token in the center encircled by a wreath.  There is no date on the token, but similar to others  with the date 1912.  Thomas Elder had the tokens struck in limited numbers, apparently for the 1915 Panama Pacific International Exposition.  This token is struck in silver, size is 15 mm and weight 1.03 grams / 15.8 grains, proof-like condition.
