Great Britian, 1739. Admiral Vernon medal, Porto Bello, McCormick-Goodhart #35,  Adams & Chao PBv 10-H,  listed as R-6.  The obverse shows Vernon 1/2 length, facing 3/4 left.  The legend reads Admiral Vernon Took Porto Bello.  His finger points to the right of D in Admiral.  The reverse shows ships entering Porto Bello.  The legend reads With Six Ships Only.  In the exergue Nov 22 1739 and below the date the initials T.M. - for the engraver.  A steeple points after the X of Six.  Listed in the catalog as a scarce variety.  Size is 38.5 mm and weight 20.53 grams.
