Great Britian, 1739. Admiral Vernon medal, Porto Bello, McCormick-Goodhart #15, Adams & Chao NLv 6-E.  The obverse shows Vernon full length, facing 3/4 right.  To his left is a ship sailing right, and to his right is a cannon facing right.  The legend reads The British Glory Reviv.D By Admiral Vernon.  The N's are reversed.  The reverse shows the devil leading Sir Robert Walpole into the mouth of Hell.  The halter passes under Satyr's right arm.  The legend reads Make Room For Sir Robert.  In the exergue No Excise.   Listed as a scarce variety in the McCormick-Goodhart catalog.  The size is 30 mm and weight 6.86 grams.  Weight would be slightly more, if not for the edge chips.  Listed as R-6 in A&C.
