B.P.O.E. 1542, Cristobal, C.Z., 15c, 20c, 25c, 30c, 40c ca. 1960's - 1970's

in Panama Tokens (currently in collection)
Panama, Canal Zone, Date unknown, ca 1960's to 1970's. Set of 5 tokens for BPOE, which stands for Benevolent and Protective Order of Elks.  All 5 tokens read the same except for the denomination.  The obverse reads B.P.O.E. 1542 Cristobal, C.Z.   The reverse reads Good for 15c (or 20c, 25c, 30c 40c) In Trade.  The 15c is white wth black printing.  The others tokens all have white printing on: 20c black, 25c green, 30c red and 40c light blue.  The size of each is 28mm and weight varies slightly: 15c 1.13 grams; 20c 1.12 grams; 25c 1.10 grams; 30c 1.13 grams; 40c 1.12 grams.
