Panama, 1894. This token is from the first seres, dated 1894.  The obverse shows a gold miner with a shovel and pick and a scenic background.  The legend reads The Darien Gold Mining Company Limited.  The reverse has a large 20c in the center with a design below.  The legend reads Las Minas De Oro Darien A Cana 1894.  Brass, 8 sided (octagon).  Size is 31 mm and 33 mm at the diagonal corner tips.  Weight is 9.11 grams.  Ex-Thomas Olive Mabbott collection.
