Panama, 1918. Award medal for a swimming meet held in Balboa, Canal Zone on February 22, 1918.  The obverse shows a swimmer with the words Isthmian Swimming Meet above.  There is also a triange device shown.  On the reverse it is engraved to the winner: Feb.22.1918 / Balboa, C.Z. / 100 YD. / Francis Kerr / 1st Place.  The manufacturer name is imprinted below RobbinsCo Attleboro.  The medal is scalloped shaped, holed at top for suspension with a ring attached, bronze gold plate.  The size varies from 32 to 32 mm depending on where measured.  The weight is 17.68 grams including the ring/loop.  This medal was one of five pieces from the same swimmer at various swim meets sold together as an auction lot.
