1982 Gold 1/2B Uniface Trial Strike, Coat of Arms Side, Unofficial Coin

Panama, 1982. 1/2B struck in.400 fine gold, uniface trial strike, Coat of Arms side, other side blank.  Piefort type striking, edge not reeded, and thicker than a normal coin.  It is believed the gold piefort trial strike was struck using the original coin dies, but unofficial.  Viewed as a medal or fantasy issue.  Listed in the KM catalog as #TS10.  Proof or proof-like, softly struck in some areas, size 30 mm, with edge thickness just under 3 mm, and weight 21.65 grams.
