Panama, 1894. This token is from the first series, dated 1894.  The obverse shows a gold miner with a shovel and pick and a scenic background.  The legend reads The Darien Gold Mining Company Limited.  The reverse has a large 25c in the center with a design below.  The legend reads Las Minas De Oro Darien A Cana 1894.  The token is counterstampted 6 at the bottom of 25c.  This is believed to represent camp #6 at the mines.  The size is 27 mm and 28.5 at the diagonal corner tips.  Weight is 6.33 gams.
