in statue of liberty and related medals (currently in collection)
Paris mint, thought to be 1886. 59mm dedication piece for the Statue of Liberty. Possibly one of the major dedication pieces given to dignitaries that october.  In the truncation of the neck is the engraved word "barber".  This was my first find, and started my collection of Liberty pieces.
