Facsimiles, 1941 1B, 5B, 10B, 20B Specimen Notes

 Panama, 1941. This is a set of reproductions of the 1941 Specimen set.  The notes were reproduced on both obverse & reverse sides, then placed together and sealed in individual plastic holders.  The white round marks are where the orignal notes would have had holes, but the person that reproduced the notes did not punch the holes out so they appear white.  Sets of these appeared on Ebay in 2004, properly advertised as facsimiles.  As I recall a few sets were offered for sale.  A curiosity set to illustrate the rare originals.   To see the reverse sides of the notes just click onto either of the photos, and additional photos come up.
