United states, 1892. A silvered medal that started me looking at GAR tokens. This was my very first token, and was purchased so i could examine it and try to figure out was G.A.R. Stood for. My appreciation grew and grew not only for the time period, but for the history and the effort to regroup a country. This piece measures 34mm and has the large logo on the backside. It also has a loop and hole on the top.
