1923 President Warren G. Harding Death Medal

United States, 1923. U. S. Mint issued medal to notate the death of President Warren G. Harding.  The obverse shows a portrait of President Harding facing left, and his name arount, Warren G. Harding.  The deisgner's name, Morgan (George) 1922, to the right of the bust.  The reverse shows a female figure in morning over a wreath.  Reads Inaugurated President of teh United States Mar. 4, 1921 / Died Aug. 2, 1923.  Large 3" diameter bronze medal.  Comes with the original box of issue mailed by U.S. Mint to the original purchaser of the medal, postmarked, appears to be 1946.  Click onto either of the medal photos and a 3rd photo comes up showing the original box.
