in statue of liberty and related medals (currently in collection)
Paris mint, thought to be 1884 to 1886. Bronze 1886 dedication piece for the statue of liberty. This bronze medal has a picture of Bartholdi on the front with a neck truncation that reads R.L.  On the reverse side under the scene are the initials A.D-F(only).  the shinyness of this piece makes it look much different than the white metal pieces.
