in Panama Medals (currently in collection)
Panama, 1915. Panama Cross type medal for the Panama Pacific International Exposition held in San Francisco, 1915.  While not specifically a Panama medal, I am including it in the Panama Medals category, since the word Panama is prominent.  On the obverse in the center is a leaf type design with a crown above and the year 1915 below.   On the reverse Panama is in the center.  At the edges of each section are words.  At bottom Pacific; at left Internat'l; at right Exposition; at top San Francisco.  The medal has a loop attached at the top, and the partial remains of a black ribbon.  The medal has the appearance of being lead or pewter ?  The overall size is 42 x 42 mm.  With the loop is 49 mm tall.  Weight is 26.45 grams.
