Us mint, 1898. Grand army of the republic 32nd encampment. This is a very shinny copper medal dated September 5-10 of 1898. Dewey was on several of the encampment medals from different states. This medal shows Dewey in full military dress and full mustache. The medal measures 32mm. On the back Ohio is shortened to O.
