England, c. 1850. White metal. Diameter 40.9mm, 24.9 grams, with hole for suspension. Obverse: REMEMBER THY CREATOR IN THE DAYS OF THY YOUTH around a boy kneeling next to a small table, on whic an open book is resting. Reverse: REWARD OF INDUSTRY above a beehive with bees buzzing all around, and LEARN TO LIVE below.

Note: The dies of this medal vary slightly from the copper medal of virtually identical design
