Canal zone, Panama, ca 1940's. This is a photocopy of a booklet cover for Beer Chits.  (Note:  I have a chit similar  to what would have been in the booklet, but not available for photographing now - a future listing).  The booklet cover was furnished to me by Garry Arva.  It reads Cash Chit Book.  To the right is the booklet number, F  7956.  Below is written:  Ship's Service Department / U. S. Submarine Base / Coco Solo, C.Z. / 12 - Beer Chits - $1.00 / Chits Not Good If Detached. .
