Great Britian, 1739. Admiral Vernon medal, McCormick-Goodhart #32, and Adams & Chao PBv 7-E, listed as R-8.  The obverse shows Vernon 3/4 length, facing left.  The legend reads Admiral Veron Took Porto Bello.  The reverse shows the attack on Porto Bello with three ships entering the harbor in a row, and three below.  The legend reads With Six Ships Only Nov 22 1739.  A shaft points between PS of Ships and a spire below NL of Only.  Size is 38 mm, and weight 11.88 grams.
