Panama, 1982. 5c struck in .400 fine gold, piefort striking, edge not reeded, and thicker than a normal coin. It is believed the gold piefort was struck using the original coin die, but unofficial. Viewed as a medal or fantasy issue. Listed in the KM catalog as #P-2. Mintage unknown, but believed to be small. Proof-like or proof condition, size is 21 mm and weight 13.13 grams.
