Panama, ca 1894-1893. 50c token c/s 3.  This is from the second series, no date, but ca 1894-1903, undated.  Counterstamped 3, which is believed to be for camp #3.  The obverse shows a gold miner with a shovel and pick with a scenic background.  The legend reads the Darien Gold Mining Company Limited.  The reverse has 50c in the center with the legend reading Para Simplificar Las Cuentas and below the 50c Nadamas (to simply accounting, nothing more).  Counterstamped 3 below 50c and over Nadames.  Brass, 8 sided (octagon).  Size is 31 nn at all areas, and 33 mm at the diagonal corner tips.  Weight is 8.22 grams. .
