1801. Silver, hand engraved. Diameter 54.7mm, 20.2 grams, with hole for suspension. Obverse: Front view of an angel flying above the clouds, holding a trumpet in her right hand and a book in her left hand; legend "IT IS BETTER TO POSSESS ONE TALENT WITH HUMILITY THAN TO BE PROUD WITH TEN" around. Reverse: Legend in seven lines "Miss Drinkwater having made a greater proficiency in History Grammar &c than any of her Schoolfellows, receives this Medal as a recompence for her Application", with the legend around, "THE REWARD OF INDUSTRY SHREWSBURY DECR. 18TH, 1801", all within an ornmental border.
