Panama Merchant Chit, Bodega Ginebra

Panama, ca 1930's. Merchant chit, Plowman #CT-335.18, BODEGA / GINEBRA / 18 within a double lined circle / TOME LO MEJOR.  Size is 36 mm x 37 mm, light cardboard, white with black inky, hand made ink stamp.   Reverse has color design from an undertermined grocery item.  Most likely used in lieu of small change to purchas store items.  Ex-Eugene Hamlin, Jr collection.  Gene collected these while he was living and working in the Canal Zone.  He felt they were from the time frame 1930's to 1940's.
