U.s. Mint, 1883. A centennial medal to commemorate the 1783 victory over the british. The british leaving New York was a celebrated evacuation.  The army was then dispanded.  This is a white metal piece measuring about 32mm.  This is listed as Baker 461 and has Lovett on the truncation.  The word evcuation is curved on this piece, and Washington is facing right.  In the book, this is listed as Peace Proclaimed.
