Panama / Colombia 1865 Estado Soberano de Panama Uncut Sheet Photo

 Panama, 1865. Photograph of an uncut sheet of Paper Money, Colombia / Estado Soberano de Panama, ca 1865, 1-2-3-10 Pesos, Unsigned.  Dr.Edward Majilton owned the sheet shown in this photograph, which he furnished me in 1967.  He sold his sheet at auction in the mid-1970's, I do not know who is the current  owner.   I note that StacksBowers Auction August 16, 2011, lot #20092, sold a similar sheet, but signed and dated Aug 24, 1872.  That sheet sold for $26,550.  Dr. Majilton told me over 40 years ago that he was aware of a 2nd sheet.  However, I do not know, if it is the same one in the StacksBowers auction or yet another sheet.  At some point in the future I will include listings of individual notes 1, 2, 3, 10 pesos that are in my collection.
