Birmingham, England, c. 1830. White metal. Diameter 38.7mm, 14.6 grams. Engraved by Thomas Halliday (signed H at obverse exergue line). Obverse: Boy kneeling in front of a chair, with the legend REMEMBER THY CREATOR IN THE DAYS OF THY YOUTH around. Reverse: Bee skep on stand with bees flying around; the legend LEARN TO LIVE on the edge of the stand, and legend THE REWARD OF ATTENTION AND INDUSTRY around.
