French mint, 1888. Year 25 anniversary of la libre pensee. This is my second Liberty medal from Brussels. Totally uncirculated and solid copper. Please read the info from the other look-alike piece. This piece also measures 52mm. There were few Liberty pieces dating before 1890, but this is one of them.
this only two years afer the dedication of the Statue of Liberty.
