Hamburg, late-17th century. Gaedechens 1558. Lang. 370.2. Silver. Diameter 36mm, 14.5 grams. Obverse: Arm coming out of a cloud, with the hand holding a sword and an olive branch, and a book tethered to the forearm; BELLI PACISQUE MINISTRAE (servant of war and of peace) around. Reverse: BRABEON SCHOLAE HAMBURG: (school prize, Hamburg) with winged cherubs' heads above and below. Diagonally reeded edge.
